Evaluation Question 6

The learning of how to use the technologies that we were provided such as the camera and the go pro.
With the camera we learnt how to use the cameras a lot more in comparison to the preliminary task as we learnt how to use the manual focus to create new images such as the zoomed fade and also making an object up close clear and the background all faded and distorted to further help with the post apocalyptic theme and also to take in the landscape and surroundings where we filmed as was done with 'The Revenant' as they took a lot of the surroundings and shot it on a 4k camera to pay complement to where they actually shot the film which resulted in it getting the best picture at the Oscars.
However, the battery life on the camera wasn't that good as we didn't have a charger that worked so we had to shoot most of the footage in the forest which is luckily where most of our film takes place on the contrary, when we had to shoot the other footage with the GO Pro it wasn't to the same effect as the camera so we had to cut most of the film that we recorded with it which wasted us three days and we even went to stores trying to get a charger however, non were the compatible with the camera we had which made it even worse for us when shooting the film further.

The Go Pro that we used was very useful in the fact that it provided us with another way of capturing other images in a way we couldn't describe such as the bridge as it provides an open field view of the horizons and how damaging the apocalypse was to the natural beauty. Also it allowed ease when shooting shots when climbing up hills as it can be fitted onto your head and easily moveable so nothing really was in doubt when using the Go Pro as it is a mobile camera theoretically so it saved us a lot of time filming the action sequences when running and as I am tall it caused a lot of high angled shots adding dimensions to the film.
